9.1.13.669321018 = Christina Aguilera?

There has been shit loads of very confusing discussion – either these strange, very Goldfrappy-Ladytron -like video clips are a part of Christina Aguilera’s new album viral promotion campaign or not. Personally I’m not sure what to think or believe, but honestly, these 3 short clips look really interesting and well done. Who ever is standing behind them, obviously knows the business. Jonas Åkerlund maybe? Could be. He has done video’s for Xstina before. And the style is very similar to his recent work. Or the guy who did Ladytron’s Tomorrow video. Or Johan Renck. He as well has done some very similar stuff for The Knife and such.

I totally admit, the music on these clips doesn’t sound Christina at all, but RCA have confirmed the release of Christina’s fourth studio album, ‘BIONIC’, on March 29. Including 14 brand new tracks, with productions from The Neptunes, Goldfrapp, Le Tigre, Sia, Santigold, Ladytron and M.I.A. That would explain the similarities to Goldfrapp on the clips.

“This album is totally different to what I’ve done in the past – much more upbeat, electronic and dance music and I can’t wait for you to all hear it.” Says Aguilera.

You think I’m out of my mind and full of shit? Well, check this out. Yeah, or this. Ohh, so much fun! All the fuzz on these clips reminds me the tymes when the first viral campaign of LOST came online.

Oh and even Dazed Digital thinks it’s Xstina.

Oh boy..

Marge Simpson has become the first animated character to appear in Playboy’s cover. She will be on the cover of the special collector’s edition of the November issue, in a feature to celebrate the Simpson’s 20th anniversary. I’m not sure if this is a good thing or just really really weird. Naah, I guess it’s cool.

You must first invent the universe

Autotune in it’s best use. I just love this song! And it’s educational at the same time. Very good job all of you.

Justin vs. Facebook

Columbia Pictures have greenlit production on “The Social Network” (IMDB), based on a script by Aaron Sorkin. The movie follows the formation of social networking website Facebook. David Fincher, the director of Se7en, Fight Club and that epic Benjamin Button drama is directing the movie. How weird that sounds?

Justin Timberlake will play the role of Sean Parker, who was Facebook’s original president and the co-founder of mp3 sharing site Napster. Check. Nerdy looking dude Jesse Eisenberg will play Facebook’s founder Zuckerberg and Shia LaBeouf and super funny Michael Cera also rumoured to take starring roles.

I’m a little afraid about this one, but sure interested to see the final results.
